Ik testte de nieuwste Dolmantop met vleermuismouwen van Ellie&Mac! En ik kan je zeggen: hij zit heerlijk!

Dit is een echt no-nonsense patroon, what you see is what you get!
Bovendien is het met stip het patroon dat het snelst in elkaar zit uit mijn hele collectie tot op heden!

Het patroon is eenvoudig, maar mijn stofkeuze zorgde wél voor een uitdaging. Ik koos een doorzichtige stretch-kant van Driessen. Het resultaat is er wel, maar het verwerken ervan was minder evident. Met momenten was het onderscheid tussen binnen- of buitenkant zoek, en mijn overlockmachine had ook niet steeds zin om alles mee te pakken. Dit stofje moest ik uiterst traag en nauwkeurig doorvoeren om ervoor te zorgen dat alles wel effectief aan elkaar zat…

Dit truitje is perfect voor een mooie lentedag of een frissere avond in de zomer. Gebruik een dunne tricot en je kan hem in het tussenseizoen aan, of zelfs in de winter met een nauwer aansluitend shirt er onder.
Hoe dunner de stof die je gebruikt, hoe mooier het doorvalt. Persoonlijk vond ik bij de testers vooral de versies met een opzichtige, kleurrijke, grafische print mooi. Maar ik denk er aan deze te hacken, en dan toch een poging te doen met een uni-tricot. Als het wat wordt, lees je er hier meer over 😉

The pattern is simple, but my choice of fabric did provide a challenge. I chose a transparent stretch lace from Driessen. The result is there, but processing it was less evident. At times, the distinction between inside and outside was lost, and my overlock machine did not always want to take the layers. I had to sew slowly and accurately to make sure that everything was put together effectively …

This sweater is perfect for a nice spring day or a cooler evening in the summer. Use a thin jersey and you can wear it in the mid-season or even in the winter with a more closely fitting shirt underneath.
The thinner the fabric you use, the better it will fall through. Personally, I especially liked the testers’ versions with a flashy, colorful, graphic print. But I am thinking of hacking it, and then trying to do it with a plain knit. If it works out, you will be able to read more about it here 😉
