De Amelia top van Annelaine Patterns is net vrijgegeven, en ik kon alvast het patroon uitproberen. Het Amelia shirt is een t-shirt met raglanmouwen, met de mogelijkheid om er blote schouders in te verwerken. Je kan ook kiezen tussen een gewone zoom of een hoog-laag zoom waarbij de zoom achteraan een eind lager komt als vooraan.

The Amelia top by Annelaine Patterns has just been released, and I was able to try out the pattern. The Amelia shirt is a t-shirt with raglan sleeves, with the option of incorporating bare shoulders. You can also choose between a normal hem or a high-low hem (with the back hem being lower than the front hem.)

Bij raglan-shirts heb ik steeds wat schrik dat het nogal ‘jongensachtig’ over zal komen, dus ging ik voor de versie met blote schouders, wat typisch meisjesachtig is, om te compenseren.

With raglan shirts I am always a bit scared that it will look rather ‘boyish’, so I went for the cold-shoulder version, which is typically girlish, to compensate.
