Een nieuw patroon voor meisjes van Ellie&Mac: de 70’s-top. Dit dromerige shirt bestaat uit een voering, met daarover een doorzichtige laag stretch kant of mesh. Zowel voorpand als achterpand bestaan uit twee delen, waarvan het onderste deel gerimpeld zijn. Vooraan is dit V-vormig, achteraan recht. Dit geeft de mogelijkheid om te werken met een elastische paspel of sierbandjes tussenin. De voering bestaat uit een 1-delig voor-en achterpand.
Voor de mouwen kan je kiezen uit korte mouwen of lange, en je kan deze al dan niet voeren.
Ik hield het echter simpel, en maakte telkens de versie zonder gevoerde mouwen (heerlijk zomers).
A new pattern for girls from Ellie & Mac: the 70’s top. This dreamy shirt consists of a lining with a transparent layer of stretch lace or mesh over it. Both the front and the back overlay have two parts, a yoke and underneath a gathered piece. This is V-shaped at the front, straight at the rear. This gives the possibility to work with an elastic piping or decorative bands in between. The lining consists of a 1-piece front and back.
For the sleeves, you can choose from short sleeves or long ones, and you can line them or not.
However, I kept it simple and made the version without lined sleeves (wonderfully summery).
Ik maakte voor Hanne maat 5 jaar qua breedte, 6 jaar qua lengte.
Voor Laure maakte ik maat 7 jaar qua breedte, 8 jaar qua lengte.
De resultaten zien jullie hieronder.
De versies met blauwe voering (uni-tricot van stoffen.net) en witte stretch-kant/voile zijn eigenlijk mijn testversies.
De versie met witte voering (lycra) en donkerblauwe mesh met bloemen is de finale versie.

The version with white lining (lycra) and dark blue mesh with flowers is the final version.

Het patroon op zich is eenvoudig te maken. Het naaien van stretch-kant of mesh vraagt wel wat handigheid en geduld. Veel speldjes steken is de boodschap!
The pattern itself is easy to create. Sewing stretch lace or mesh requires some skill and patience. Using a lot of pins is the message!
